- Follow all OSHA and company safety requirements
- Class A license required
- Maintain a neat workman like appearance wearing company provided uniforms
- Fill out and complete vehicle operation logs as required
- Fill out and complete company required work tickets and communication
- Perform safety (walk around) inspection of vehicle prior to operation- any concerns should be brought to the attention of the fleet manager prior to use of the vehicle
- Operate manual transmission heavy dump trucks in accordance with all DOT and company requirements
- Operate light duty dump trucks as required
- Operate backhoe/mini-excavator and dump trucks
- Connect and haul equipment trailers
- Work in extreme heat or cold
- Work in wet and dry ground conditions – may be required to go safely enter ditches/trenches
- Use of a shovel or other manual excavation tools
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- Assist and work with others accomplishing excavation and or pipe repairs
- Perform material and equipment deliveries to job sites as needed
