Responsibilities:
- Install and replace chilled and hot water system piping in commercial applications
- Install piping systems utilizing welded pipe and fittings, grooved pipe and fittings, fusion pipe and fittings, copper pipe, and fittings
- Layout piping and equipment as required
- Have a working knowledge of hydronic and gas piping systems
- Maintain a safe and orderly work area following company handbook and safety requirements
- Review blueprints and building codes and specifications to determine work details and procedures
Position Requirements:
- Must have experience in piping and installing boilers, circulation pumps for commercial boiler plants
- Must have experience in commercial gas and oil fired boilers, commercial domestic hot water heating equipment, installing grooved steel, large diameter copper and fused piping systems, gas piping, valve installation and replacement
- Must be able to climb ladders, lift and carry equipment, work in unconditioned areas, assemble pipe, pipe layout
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable record
- Pre-employment drug screening and random drug participation is required
